All the beef, lamb
and eggs
sold in the shop is produced on this farm in the most traditional way
possible.
We do
not use antibiotics, steroids, growth promoters or GM. The
lambs are fed purely on mother's milk and grass and the cattle are out
to graze during the summer months but are brought in during the winter
where they are fed ad lib
silage and cereals. When the animals are
fat they are taken to our local abattoir, only 9 miles away, and there
they are hung -- 3 weeks for Beef and 1 week for Lamb. FANTASTIC VALUE - we make your food budget go further. We checked our prices against leading supermarkets (Somerfield, Sainsburys and Waitrose on 9th July 2008) and found that we are cheaper! Superb flavour and great value too. here. We attend the Farmers Markets at Hereford, Ludlow and
Leominster where we sell fresh meat, pies and pasties made using our
own meat, cooked beef and free range eggs. You are welcome to phone an
order through and collect from
your local market. All the ingredients, wherever possible, of the Jams,
Chutneys,
and Ready Meals are produced on this farm or other holdings within a 20
mile radius. We support local producers whenever possible and our range
